About

Over the last 10 years, providing psychotherapy services to families, couples, children, and adults, I’ve found that people heal faster when they are together with their loved ones. When family members and significant others participate in our sessions, my clients are able to address issues directly and inspire each other to change. When one person is willing to consider change, there is hope. When others cannot participate, I use psychodrama and experiential exercises to help my clients symbolically heal their relationships.

Trained as a family and couple therapist, I work hard to create safety with my clients and facilitate moments of vulnerable communication that bring about healing and hope. While helping my client’s develop skills to regulate themselves is important, it is often not enough to address the underlying issues and bring about real healing. After all my job is for you not to need me anymore.

As a descendant of Eastern Europeans and in my work with multiple generations of families, I've witnessed how trauma is transmitted through generations-both disrupting and building strength and resilience. I provide trauma-informed care and help clients use their gifts and strengths. I incorporate somatic and meditative techniques to help clients feel safer in their bodies, sooth their nervous system and learn to be present.

My own experience as an immigrant, father and a partner in a multicultural and multilingual household informs my work. Born in the Soviet Union, I grew up in the Middle East and the United States. As a father of three children and a partner to someone from Brazil, I understand the unique challenges and gifts of raising children in a multicultural and multilingual environment. These personal experiences shape the culturally sensitive and linguistically diverse psychotherapy services I offer.

I provide therapy in English, Spanish, Hebrew, Russian, and Portuguese.

I welcome individuals of all genders, sexual orientations, and diverse family structures into my practice. I strive to make all clients feel respected and supported, honoring their unique experiences and lifestyles.

I currently provide telehealth services in California and Rhode Island.
